NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Beginning January 20, 2008, you may enter the HORMEL™ Top Tickets Online Sweepstakes via the Internet by visiting www.hormelfoods.com. Sweepstakes period is January 20, 2008, 12:01 AM, through June 30, 2008, 11:59 PM Central Time Zone. You may register for the HORMEL™ Top Tickets Online Sweepstakes whenever you elect to do so within the sweepstakes period. Limit one entry per person. Upon visiting the Online Sweepstakes, you will be required to submit your name, address, telephone number, email address and birth date to be eligible for the sweepstakes. Entries using macro, script or other forms of automatic entry will be disqualified. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the entry will be deemed submitted by the natural person who is the authorized holder of the transmitting email account. "Authorized Account Holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Service Provider, online service provider, or any other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. This submission will also register you for other offers from Hormel Foods.
ELIGIBILITY: Restricted to legal U.S. residents 18 years of age and older during the promotional period. Employees of Hormel Foods Sales, LLC, their parent companies, retailers, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, advertising and promotion agencies, printers, and the immediate families of each are not eligible.
PRIZES AND ODDS: One (1) Great Event Package consisting of a three (3) day/two (2) night package to a great event (see details below) within the Continental US. Package includes: round-trip, economy class air travel for winner and up to one (1) guest to US city of winner's choice, ground transportation, standard hotel accommodations (one room based on double occupancy), two Tickets to the great event with a maximum of $4,000 per ticket for one (1) public event where tickets are purchased by the Sponsor from a Licensed Ticket Broker and $150 for the winner per day, which can be used for meals. Grand prize trip requires a Saturday stay. Grand Prizewinner must identify to the Sponsor the desired event as well as the event date, time and location within 10 days of signing the Prize Acceptance Form. ARV: $12,000.00. Actual retail value of any prize may fluctuate during the Sweepstakes Period, due to market conditions, changes in value of components (e.g., air transportation and hotel rates) and other reasons, and actual retail value at time of actual prize award may be different than ARV stated herein due to such conditions. Sponsor is not responsible for and winner will not receive the difference between the actual value of a prize at the time of award and the stated ARV in these Official Rules. Any prize details not specifically set forth in the applicable prize descriptions will be decided by Sponsor in its sole discretion. The Grand Prizewinner may elect to substitute $6,000.00 in lieu of the grand prize trip. One hundred (100) First Prizes –One (1) $100.00 gift card to Ticketmaster. ARV: $100.00. Actual retail value (ARV) may vary according to other conditions. Prizes are nontransferable. Total retail value of all prizes is approximately $22,000.00. All federal, state, and local taxes, and all other costs associated with acceptance or use of the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Each eligible participant will be included in a random drawing where 1 Grand Prize and 100 First Prizewinners will be selected. The drawing will take place on or about July 9, 2008. The grand prizewinner and first prizewinners will be notified by email and/or mail. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible persons registered for the sweepstakes. No substitution or transfer of prizes by winners except as described above, Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
GENERAL RULES: Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Grand Prizewinner must execute any required Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form within 10 days of attempted notification. Noncompliance within this time period or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification. All meals, gratuities, in-room charges, travel expenses, transfers, taxes (with the exception of airport taxes and hotel taxes if a winner is a Puerto Rico resident), ground transportation and any other costs and expenses not specified in each prize description as being provided are the sole responsibility of the winner. Except as expressly stated in the applicable trip prize description: specific travel arrangements will be made in Sponsor's sole discretion; travel must originate from and end at the same airport (which will be the major metropolitan airport nearest the winner's residence (as determined by Sponsor); if a winner lives within a 150 mile radius of the designated origination or ending point of the trip, Sponsor reserves the right to award ground transportation selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion in lieu of air travel and the difference in value (if any) will not be paid to the winner; flight schedules are subject to change without notice; travel is subject to availability; blackout dates and capacity controls may apply; winner may be required to provide a credit card at time of hotel check-in to cover incidentals; the winner and his/her guest(s)(if any) must travel together on the same itinerary, including, without limitation, the same departure date, destination and return date; Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on the trip; and it is the winner's/guest's sole responsibility to comply with all travel requirements, which may include, without limitation, presenting valid travel identification, travel insurance, or any other identification (including photograph) at the time of travel. Trip must be completed by August 1, 2009 and will require advance notice of at least ninety (90) days prior to intended date of departure or prize will be forfeited in its entirety without compensation and Sponsor will have no further obligation to winner. Sponsor is not liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation/delay.
Prizewinners (or, if Minors, their parents or legal guardians) agree that any guests (or, if Minors, their parents or legal guardians) will be required to comply with Sponsor's guest procedures, sign and return a release of liability and, where legal, a publicity release to Sponsor in the timeframe specified by Sponsor or travel will not be allowed. Once selected by winner, guest(s) cannot be changed without the express consent of Sponsor, which may be withheld for any reason. By entering this Sweepstakes and accepting an event prize, each event prizewinner (or, if a Minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) agrees to maintain his/her behavior in accordance with all applicable laws and generally accepted social practices in connection with participation in any Sweepstakes activity, including, without limitation, use of the event prize, and to comply with any event venue rules and regulations as applicable. Event prizewinners (or, if Minors, their parents or legal guardians) understand and agree that Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify and remove the prize winner or his/her guest from any activity at any time if the prize winner or his/her guest's behavior at any point is disruptive or may or does cause damage to person, property or the reputation of Sponsor or otherwise violates the policies of the prize providers. Location of seating and any other prize details not specifically set forth in the applicable event prize descriptions provided as part of any event prize will be decided by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, in accurate or incomplete entries. The decisions of the independent judging organization are final in all matters relating to this offer, including winner verification. In the event of an administrative, printing, production error, electronic, technical or website, the sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify or delay the sweepstakes without liability and the right, but not the obligation, to select the winner from entries received prior to the termination. Entrants and their parents/legal guardians agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Hormel Foods Sales, LLC, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, advertising, promotion, fulfillment agencies, from and against any and all liability or damages associated with this sweepstakes or acceptance, use or misuse of any prize awarded. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for unauthorized human intervention, technical, network, electronic, computer hardware or software failures, or for website inaccessibility. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its agencies to use winner's name and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
WAIVER: By entering this promotion, participant waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, and consequential damages or any attorneys' fees. This sweepstakes will be governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota without regard to principles of conflicts of laws. Any claims must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in the State of Minnesota.
